General dentistry in Torrevieja, your questions
How often should I see the dentist if I live in Spain?
A routine check-up and professional cleaning every 6-12 months is recommended for healthy adults. If you have a history of cavities, gum disease, orthodontics or implants, every 4-6 months.
What does a general check-up include?
A complete examination of teeth, gums, bite and oral tissues; screening for decay and gum issues; review of past fillings and prostheses; and a clear treatment plan if anything needs attention. Done at your first visit.
Do you accept patients who only need occasional check-ups while in Spain?
Absolutely. Many of our international patients live partly in the UK and partly on the Costa Blanca. We coordinate dental care around your stays and share written records with your UK dentist if you wish.
What about root canal treatment?
Yes, we provide endodontic (root canal) treatment in-house for most cases. Done under local anaesthetic, with modern protocols and no pain during the procedure.
Do you treat children?
Yes. We see children from their first teeth, with a calm, no-rush approach so they grow up comfortable with the dentist.
Will I get a written quote before any treatment?
Always. After the consultation we give you a fixed written quote with options and timing. Nothing starts without your green light.
